Isabelle Gayral Boschung

Founder

Isabelle, Founder and Director of NewElement, leads the company in its mission to help businesses integrate innovative sustainability strategies into their business models and communicate them effectively.

In addition to her leadership role at NewElement, Isabelle is a regular lecturer at HEC Lausanne on ESG business strategy and marketing, and a keynote speaker for organizations such as Deloitte, 2 Degrees, ITC-UN, Swiss, Quantis, and Women in Sustainable Finance. She holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Geneva and a postgraduate degree in marketing. Isabelle is also certified as Be Trained (BCORP) as of June 2023 and has completed an IMD Leadership Diploma for Mastering Board Governance in April 2024.

15 years of experience in sustainability at Nestlé-Nespresso

With over 15 years of experience in designing and implementing sustainability programs, Isabelle previously served as Nespresso’s Global Sustainability Program Director, where she oversaw key initiatives such as the Positive Cup, AAA & Climate programs, the MBA Challenge, and the Nespresso Sustainability Advisory Board (NSAB).

Leading sustainability strategies for high-profile clients at NewElement

At NewElement, Isabelle has partnered with high-profile clients across various sectors. She has supported sustainable packaging innovation and ESG positioning for Nestlé Waters International and contributed to the development of Nespresso’s 2030 global sustainability strategy. Isabelle also crafted the repositioning and stakeholder engagement framework for Fédération de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), developed sustainability and communication strategies for Socfin in palm oil and rubber production, and contributed to climate strategies for the Etat de Fribourg. Additionally, she repositioned Reitzel in the agricultural sector by integrating sustainability into their value proposition and established the first global sustainability strategy for Swiss Medical Network across 23 clinics.

Jane is a dynamic and innovative visual communication professional with a holistic approach that blends art therapy, painting, and graphic design, driven by her passion for art, design, and inclusive personal development.

Previously, Jane has worked as a freelance graphic designer, consistently bringing fresh, groundbreaking ideas to each project. Alongside her work at NewElement, she is currently pursuing the Swiss Federal Diploma in Art Therapy to further deepen her expertise in this field and she continues to refine her skills as a painter, cultivating a unique artistic sensibility that she integrates into her art therapy practice. Her mission is to enrich the lives of others through the transformative power of artistic expression.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Visual Communication Strategies, which underpins her creative work and fuels her ability to craft compelling, visually-driven solutions.
